Macy's Inc. announced Wednesday it will roll out four new fashion brands and two home line expansions this spring.

"This spring represents one of our strongest seasons of exclusive launches ever," said Jeff Gennette, Macy's chief merchandising officer, in a statement.

The new lines, which will begin arriving at select stores in March and April, include:

* Ellen Tracy - women's better sportswear that downtown-based Macy's describes as "modern and aspirational." The line will be offered in 105 of the roughly 800 Macy's stores nationwide.

* Threads & Heirs - men's casual wear that is designed in part by couture designers Ruffian. The line, to be offered in 200 stores, is aimed at men ages 20 to 40.

* Kouture by Kimora - of-the-moment looks for young trendsetters that will be featured at 150 stores.

* mstylelab - fashion jewelry and hair accessories for the young contemporary shopper, which will be offered at 150 stores.

* Vida for España by Eva Mendes - the move adds casual Latin-inspired dinnerware to an existing bedding line.

* Martha Stewart Collection - adds mattresses with styles in multiple comfort choices to the existing line of home furnishings.

Macy's also announced an exclusive strategic alliance with Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. under which Macy's will be the sole department store retailer of the new Kenneth Cole Reaction men's sportswear line within the United States and its territories.
